Thank you very much for your interest in the Alabama Hiking Trail Society and becoming a member! We truly value your membership. As a member you help shape the future of hiking in the state and allow us to continue our mission to plan, build, maintain, and promote hiking and backpacking in Alabama.

The membership fees below are in US dollars. Senior Citizen memberships are for ages 65+. Memberships run the calendar year - January through December. IF, however, you become a member after September 1st, your membership is prorated and will run until the end of the following year. For example, if you become a member or renew on September 1, 2011, your membership will be good until December 31, 2012.

Within 3-days of completing your Online Registration, you will receive a follow up email asking you for additional information to complete your membership (for example if you sign up for a family membership, we'll ask the names of your family included in the membership.) You will receive a letter, membership card, and window decal within a week of you membership application being received. Newsletters are published quarterly in January, April, July, and October of each year.
